With Twilight fever blazing as fans count down the days to the Nov. 20 release of New Moon, there’s one thing that’s cooling down in Twi-world — the romance between the films’ stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart!
In the new issue of OK!, those close to the superstar pair reveal what drove them apart and whether or not they still have a future.
According to a friend of the couple, R-Pattz has been getting too serious too quickly for the likes of 19-year-old Kristen.
“Rob was talking marriage,” says the source, who explains that the relationship was also stealing all of Kristen’s attention and keeping her from spending time with her friends and family. “She told him they need to take a break.”

Kristen behaved like a smitten girl with a crush on Rob from the start as per the press who were on set.The publicity agents decided it would be more interesting to make it seem like Rob was in love with her and she had a boyfriend. Her friend Michael went along with it for her career sake. Rob is immature and a late bloomer. After the movie was done, they met again at Comic Con. He has been trying to get to know her and the more he does,the more burnt out and skanky she looks…WHY? He fell in love with the illusion she presented as Bella…the way she looked and behaved. She is a hard ass tough, dirty mouth punk NOTHING like the illusion. They are close, he finds her attractive but the reason she looks soooo bad is because he does not want her. They are polar opposites…he is sweet and traditional and raised by devout Catholics…Kristen is a Hollyweird wild child stoner with punks and radicals for friends. THEY are not meant to be.
